Standards can establish a management system, risk vocabulary or assessment process. They do not automatically make every prompt, agent, workflow or decision compliant.
Organisations still need control owners, evidence, testing, audit trails, independent review and corrective action. Verification connects the written control to its real operation.
Policy says what should happen. Evidence shows what did happen. Auditing tests the difference.
